In specific instances, staff within a company may qualify as front line healthcare workers for vaccine prioritisation. For this to be applicable, the staff must meet the following criteria:
- Do they work part-time or full-time in a hospital, care home, primary care or community-based setting where many patients vulnerable to COVID-19 are cared for?
- Are they likely to be infected by COVID-19 themselves because they are in regular contact with people who are infected or with infected materials?
- Are they more likely to transmit COVID-19 to multiple persons particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 or to other staff in a healthcare environment?
