Medilink UK partners with The Department for Business and Trade at this year’s MEDICA

Medilink UK is set to deliver the largest UK pavilion at this year’s MEDICA Exhibition taking place in November in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Over the last 21 years, our presence at MEDICA has continued to grow and as the Lead UK Partner of Messe Düsseldorf, Medilink will be supporting companies of all sizes from across the UK on their pavilion, building on the success of the 2022 exhibition.

This year, Medilink UK are also proud to be the exclusive partner of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).

The DBT UK Pavilion will bring together DBT’s regions and nations from across the UK in one prominent location, bringing together the Northern Powerhouse, Midlands Engine, Southern Region, and DBT Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

DBT will be supporting delegations of companies, increasing the visibility of UK innovation at the world-leading MEDICA trade fair whilst offering unique opportunities for companies to build ties with key decision-makers and innovators around the world.

Mark Oakes, Head of Life Sciences (Exports) at the Department for Business and Trade said: “I am excited to be attending my very first MEDICA in Düsseldorf this November where I will be leading a team from DBT to showcase UK innovation and expertise in MedTech. DBT’s team will comprise of staff from London, Germany, the UK regions and nations, and commercial officers from across the globe. We will be directly supporting around 50 UK companies covering the full range of UK strengths in a sector which delivered £4.1 billion of exports in 2022. I am delighted we are partnering with Medilink this year and I am confident we will deliver an impactful presence and engaging programme of events and presentations.”  

The Department for Business and Trade have also launched their new MEDICA website where you can find details of companies attending and activities taking place in market, as well as the series of pre-event briefings on the run up to MEDICA, which are open to any UK company to attend. These include topics such as ‘Making the most of Medica’, ‘Conducting market research ahead of Medica’ and marketing hints and tips.
