Medilink @ Climb25

Last week the team at Medilink North of England (in partnership with BioNow) hosted the first ClimbHealth platform at Climb25 – a dedicated area for healthcare, med tech and life sciences.

ClimbHealth’s launch was a huge success, with innovators and leaders from across the life sciences sector coming together to deliver impactful, outcome-driven sessions across the two-day festival.

Members of the Medilink team were joined by representatives from our member companies and corporate partners on stage, taking part in a variety of panel discussions and presentations to share insight and experiences on a national platform:

How to Value a Technology

A presentation on how to value a technology, looking into IP considerations, followed by Q&A.
Presented by Medilink’s Dr Patrick Trotter, Haseltine Lake Kempner’s Louise Perkin & LightOx’s Sam Whitehouse.

Women in MedTech

Hosted by Medilink’s Dr Rashmi Raju, featuring Hill Dickinson’s Gemma Badger, Lifted Ventures’ Jordan Dargue, Wellola’s Sonia Neary & NunaBio’s Marie Whitehouse.

Ask the Experts

A panel session dedicated to expert input on subjects within the life sciences sector such as insurance, human resources, R&D tax credits and accountancy.
Hosted by Medilink’s Kevin Kiely with MFL’s Mark Philmore, MHA’s Yogan Patel & Leyton’s Sarah Glanville.

From Startup to Stock Market

In this candid conversation, we explored Paxman’s early formation and mission-driven innovation, its bold entry into the US market, and the strategic steps taken to secure funding and go public.
Hosted by Medilink’s Tom Elliott with Paxman’s CEO Richard Paxman.

A huge thank you to all the event organisers, participants and visitors for making the launch of ClimbHealth @ Climb25 a really special opportunity. We’re really excited for next year’s ClimbHealth platform, which is shaping up to be the front-row seat to the future of healthcare innovation.
